Welcome to our classroom! Hello, my name is Leslie Klingensmith and I am excited to play a part in your child's education at Daniel Axford. I have taught almost every grade at the K-6 level. But whatever grade, kids are still kids and I love teaching.
Personally, I live in Oxford with my husband and two children - Dean and Paige. Our family life is busy; we play sports, travel up north, and seem to be running endless errands on the weekends.
I am looking forward to the year I will spend with your child. We will learn to be problem solvers and work through challenges, we will learn to persevere when things don't come easy or go as planned and we will focus on being good people that are understanding and respectful of those around us in a shared world.
This year is going to be a great year. In our classroom we welcome and challenge, encourage
questioning,
and value each other.
