I am thrilled to be a part of Oxford Community Schools! I attended Grand Valley State University where I obtained my degree in Elementary Education. I had the opportunity to work in downtown Grand Rapids during my teacher assisting and completed my student teaching at Hugger Elementary in Rochester. I have worked with children from three to twelve years old in various settings, from camp to coaching. I have a passion for teaching and look forward to all of the students I will meet in the years to come! It is my goal to create a welcoming classroom where students feel safe to learn, socialize, and grow as individuals!
Outside of the classroom, I spend a lot of time with family. I live in Oakland Township and enjoy playing volleyball and practicing yoga. I also enjoy traveling and count Grand Cayman, Hawaii, Oregon, and France as some of my favorite places to visit. I love to learn about different cultures and create new memories with friends and family!
