JOINED OXFORD COMMUNITY SCHOOLS
August 2021

I have been teaching since 2018. I previously taught in Lapeer and am excited to be teaching in Oxford since this is my community and my alma mater! I'm beyond grateful to be back at Daniel Axford where I completed my student teaching and a long term substitute position.

My passion is to see each child in front of me succeed. They will succeed because of the enthusiastic and positive learning environment that I create. This environment will allow my students the ability to explore and grow each day and with each lesson. I believe that the key to student learning is to create students that can think, communicate, reflect, and cooperate with others. These life skills, along with some others, are the fundamental building blocks for future growth throughout their educational career and beyond that will encourage life-long learning.

I got married this past summer to my husband Chris. We love fixing up our old farmhouse and working on projects together. Some of my favorite past times include fishing, family time, and camping.
