Good Evening DA Families,
The first day of school is just a couple days away! It is important that we have up to date information for your child. Please be sure to complete the information update that was emailed out last week. That information was due on Friday last week. We have many families that still need to complete that. Your child's safety is important to me. I want to be sure we have the most up to date information for all of our students. Reminder, for student safety, it is important that we have clear and consistent information regarding how each student will be dismissed from school each day. An irregular schedule can be confusing to students and staff. We are asking that you provide your child's regular daily dismissal procedure on the Dismissal Form linked to this email. Some families have completed this, but we still need a response from many families. I will be sending your responses to teachers Wednesday (Tomorrow!) morning. It is important that we have a form from ALL students. Please complete this Google Form Today, August 23rd.
Over the course of the school year, if you need to make a one-time change, please complete and send in a yellow dismissal change form on the date of the one-time change (Each child will receive a yellow pad of dismissal forms on the first day). You can also call the office if your child's dismissal procedure needs to be changed due to special circumstances that occur during the school day. Please call the office by 3:15PM in those instances.
If your child has special dismissal procedures for the first day of school, please email those directions to your child's teacher. The schedule provided on the Google Form should be their regular schedule for the school year.
In the coming weeks/months, if you need to make a permanent change to the schedule you provide on the Google Dismissal Form please contact your child's teacher.
